For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
- Customer: The person who hires the transfer service from Pragmatic Rides, Transfers & Tours;
- Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda: The company Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda, based in Albufeira, Portugal;
- Transfer service: The service of transporting passengers from one place to another, provided by Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda;
- Booking: The process of requesting a transfer service from Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda;
- Price: The amount charged for the Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda transfer service, in euros (EUR);
- Cancellation: The termination of the Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda transfer service contract.
The Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda transfer service will be contracted through a booking made by the Client. The booking can be made via the Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda website, by telephone or by e-mail.
When making a booking, the Customer must provide the following information:
- Full name;
- E-mail address;
- Telephone number;
- Date and time of service;
- Place of departure and arrival;
- Number of passengers;
- Type of vehicle;
- Number and type of luggage;
- Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda will confirm the Customer's booking by e-mail or phone call (Whatsapp).
The driver from Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda will wait for customers at the agreed meeting point, holding a sign with the name of the main passenger, as provided in the booking details.
Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda driver must verify the identity of the passengers by requesting a copy of the booking voucher. This voucher must be kept by Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda to refute any possible future complaints about the service.
If customers do not have a copy of the voucher, the driver must confirm identity by requesting the booking number and name of the main passenger and contacting the Customer to verify the passenger's identity.Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda recognises that following this process is necessary to prevent fraud.
The price of the Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda transfer service is fixed by Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda and varies according to the type of vehicle, the destination and the distance to be travelled.
The price of the Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda transfer service is charged at the time of booking in euros (EUR).
The Customer may cancel the booking of the Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda transfer service free of charge up to 24 hours before the date and time of the service.
In the event of cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the price of the service.
Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda shall be responsible for providing the transfer service in accordance with the conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions. Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda will not be held responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events of force majeure, such as bad weather, strikes or accidents.
The Client is responsible for providing correct information about the date, time, place of departure and arrival, number of passengers and type of vehicle.
The Customer is responsible for paying the price of the Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda transfer service, even in the event of cancellation.
Customers can complain about the transfer service provided by Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda. Complaints must be made in writing, by e-mail or by telephone.
Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda will have a period of 15 days to respond to the Customer's complaint.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese law.
Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Albufeira district court.
By making a booking for a Pragmatic Strategy Unipessoal Lda transfer service, the Customer agrees to the terms and conditions set out in this document.
